"The dowry of Katja R." / 2020

Following Russian traditions, rituals, and paganistic beliefs, "The dowry of Katja R." is a collection of the outfits for 6 stages of life, translated in the language of sportswear. Taking graduation as a ritual of initiation, I approached the process of working on it as mental and practical preparation for the future. 

 

No artificial intelligence, no computerized production, no exploitation of anything, or anyone. Only good-old manual labor. Only reinvented crafts. Only slow-pace intuitive and meditative production, resulting in a bond between the creator and the creation. Only my hands. Only hardcore.
